Isn’t it cool that you will be at peace everywhere you will be?
There’s just so much joy when you feel that kind of peace in your heart and in your soul.
This is what I felt when I took my 6 days off at 1Peace in Anda, Bohol. The place signifies how a traveler should be able to feel a relaxing home with no interconnection of the country you came from or from any island in the Philippines.
I first came into this place during my 2 day’s work as a Tour Guide, I arrived at night which was in time for dinner. I’m surprised that they do not have a menu, but they served food in casual family dining style that made one feel at home. I got excited knowing that there’s a daily surprise food. More so, the impression that got me when they usually asked you about your food preference just to give them heads up for the next days to come on what type of food they might be able to serve all the guests in general. That’s really sensible, as the comfort of the guest is one of the main services. I’ve tried their burger on my first dinner with the fresh potato french fries, the herbed patty on the burger is to die for! This food is a must to try! All are fresh as they serve also fresh fish that just been caught by local fishermen! No wonder some non-guests prefer to come to this place for Food! It’s delish! I came back to stay here after my travel guide work because of their awesome food!
The Approachable & Homely Service of the Staff!
I could not contain how the service here defines the true meaning of 1peace. This somehow is a new place, running for more than 2 months now, but, as the business here is growing profoundly, so is the service had been delivered accurately. Perhaps, it’s an add-on for the guests, as the owners and staff of this place are in fact once a long term traveler. They, by heart, knew how a customer should be given importance. They’re flexible, adaptable and could fit into your needs. Their honesty towards the guests will enlighten your mind. This has been a good service that I’ve encountered.
The drinking session never ceased to be offered here. From light juices to heavy drinks, unlimited serving is offered. Again, there’s no menu list, but you can request for them to make you your own drinks or try their very own version of cocktails, fresh juices, and other mixes (Manhattan is good! Try to ask for this). Tagay Na! Is quite famous here as it gives a very warm greeting before drinking session, perhaps, each country has its own way of drinking greetings that made each and everyone staying here felt the cozy kind of life.
Stunning view over Tower has been my perfect relaxing area of this place. I’ve been sleeping one of the hammocks while working my ass off online for 5 days, but I never had any problem while I’m there on the top. The area is huge enough with few rooms and bungalows available, by saying this, I’m sure you will think how cozy the place is. If you want a more homey & relaxing atmosphere, I suggest you come visit the place.
The Beach Side!
It’s a secluded place. There’s nothing more peaceful being on the beach than with no or just a few people around. The ambiance and the calm voice of the water capture the peaceful soul in you. Swimming is also good here, though partly rocky; but the water is cold enough to soothe your body. Snorkeling and Diving are recommended as well, although the reef is a little bit far from the place, more or less 200meters far, you will be amazed at how each coral has grown. I’ve heard there are turtles in the area, but I was not fortunate to see one.
There are so much to say about 1Peace that I’ll keep in my memories. But, If you want a different experience, a different kind of life to stay, different way of relaxing, different tastes of food, then this will be a perfect place for you.

P.S. Please note that this is my personal review about this place and I am not being paid for this. This is valid with all honesty.
